Affordable Exotic Beauty Of Eastern Europe

With all of the attention paid to destinations like London and Paris, few people really put much thought into Eastern Europe travel when they are making their vacation plans. In my opinion, this is a shame. Eastern Europe travel offers some of the most interesting vacation possibilities at very reasonable prices.
Unlike destinations in Spain, England, and France, travel in Eastern Europe explores locations that have always been a little bit off the map – places that are home to expatriates and friendly to tourists, but still thriving with unique native cultural traditions. This means that Eastern Europe traveling offers some of the best of both worlds – on the one hand, you can live in the luxury that most of us have come to expect from our vacation accommodations, but on the other hand you can get away from the bustling city life and enjoy a quaint, picturesque setting.
I began my Eastern Europe travels in my early 20s quite by accident. I was on a vacation, you see, to London between semesters. I decided to take a brief stop in the Czech Republic, owing to the fact that I had some friends over there. Although train fare was a bit expensive, once I was over there I could live on almost nothing. Drinks were plentiful, the people were friendly, and the atmosphere was out of this world!
Ever since then, I have tried to indulge in as much Eastern European travel As I can. Although it is sometimes difficult – my job allows me very little vacation time – nonetheless it is worth it. Besides the well-known sites in the Czech Republic and Greece, Poland and Lithuania also offer exciting possibilities. One of the great thing about Eastern Europe travel is that you don't have to choose one destination exclusively. In general, the public transportation is good enough and cheap enough in that part of the world that you can get from one country to another with relative ease. Basically, Eastern Europe travel offers you the luxury of exploring a whole region rather than settling on one single country.
If, however, you are going on a first Eastern Europe travel trip, you should be prepared for culture shock. Customs are still familiar enough to not be totally alienating, however, things are still noticeably different there. The fact that it is so affordable, however, more than makes up for this. If you can find cheap airfare to Eastern Europe, You can take your trip for almost nothing.
